New ARBURG subsidiary in Romania

With the founding of its own subsidiary in Romania in April 2024, ARBURG is taking another important step towards an even greater local presence in the economically emerging region of Southeast Europe. The new subsidiary is based in Bucharest and its interim Managing Director is Dr Daniel Orel, who is also responsible for the ARBURG subsidiaries in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. This step is intended to bring products and services even closer to customers.

Important location for Southeast Europe

Since 2000, customers in Romania have been supported by an ARBURG trading partner, from which the majority of the new subsidiary's service technicians have also been recruited. As a result, eleven employees, all of whom have a wealth of experience as ARBURG service technicians and are already known to customers, will be working in Bucharest from the outset. "We want to offer our existing customers in Romania comprehensive advice and services and win new customers in the process," explains Dr Daniel Orel. As Romania is a large country in terms of area, the company will continue to work with a decentralised service organisation in order to reach customers quickly on site. Romania is increasingly moving forward technologically. What's more, it used to be predominantly a market with hydraulic machines, but now there are more electric machines and the proportion of robotic systems and automation is also growing. By founding its own subsidiary in Bucharest, ARBURG aims to intensify existing partnerships and establish new contacts in order to further expand ARBURG's market position in Romania.
